Gas is quickly becoming popular for more than just the 1/3 scale monsters! There are several small gas engines out there now in the 20-30cc range that are not too expensive.  If you fly quite a bit, the cost savings in fuel can quickly offset the slightly higher priced gas engines.  There are many other advantages to running gas besides being able to fill up at the pump for $3.00 a gallon.
